About Reverend Susan:
About my education. . . I was ordained from Unity School in 1976, and I received my Master of Divinity from St. Paul School of Theology in 1990. Of course, my experience in field ministry and as an Instructor and Chairperson in Unity’s Ministerial Education Program taught me invaluable practical lessons!
My style of presentation in classes and Sunday Truth Talks in one filled with both wit and wisdom gained from more than three decades in Unity ministry. The focus of the inspirational messages that I share with all Unity students and congregations is how the power of our Truth-filled thoughts can transform our lives. I also want to evoke joyous laughter, because I believe that it relieves the soul of its preoccupation with our daily business and burdens. When we are relaxed and receptive, we will receive the blessings of clarity, faith, creativity, and healing that we’ve been longing for all our lives.
My commitment to Unity Spiritual Center is, first, to listen to the leadership team and the members of the congregation to develop an understanding of the church’s unique identity, mission and plans for the future. My next priority is to offer counsel, from the perspective of an experienced minister, as I work with the Board to reach USC’s goals. For the congregation, I intend to increase everyone’s familiarity with our Unity philosophy, to inspire each person to develop a more personal and satisfying relationship with God, and to identify the many ways that we can integrate spiritual principles in our individual lives. The results that I pray for are a more enthusiastic, resourceful, compassionate, and confident group of Unity folks who are continuously experiencing prosperity, personal fulfillment, good health, nurturing and compatible relationships, meaningful work, and inner peace
