Community Meeting

USC will have a Community Meeting following services and a light lunch, on Sunday, September 28. When we had our Annual Business Meeting last January, we said we would meet again in 6 months to see “where we were” - which would have meant meeting in July, when many are away on vacation. We decided holding this meeting in September would facilitate greater attendance.

 

Every Community Meeting is an important time in the future formation of our Center, and your participation and feedback is essential in this development.  Members of USC are encouraged to attend, but you do not have to be a member to attend.

 

So please mark September 28 on your calendars, and plan on attending this meeting of hearts and minds!


Prayer Ministry

Do you or someone you care about have a challenge or celebration you would like to hold in prayer? If you do, a prayer chaplain is available after Sunday service at the front of the sanctuary to pray with you.  At other times, please feel free to call any of the prayer chaplains whose phone numbers are listed on the back of the bulletin.  In addition, you may place a prayer request in the prayer box located in the back of the sanctuary.

 

 

Unity Spiritual Center Advertising

We purchased a great advertisement to get the word out about Unity Spiritual Center. It has run for a few months in “The Chatham News – Chatham Record”, the weekly newspaper serving Chatham County. The ad points those “Looking for another way…” to “… discover Unity’s positive, practical Christianity.”

 

The same ad started running in Natural Awakenings magazine in August.

 

We have also purchased another ‘a-frame’ sign (like the one placed at the entrance to Hamlet Chapel Rd. from 15-501) – for placing outside the entrance to Triangle Training Center. Look for it!

 

Most importantly – tell a friend about the powerful spiritual energy at Unity Spiritual Center, happening every Sunday!

 

 

Volunteers Appreciated

If you would like to help with hospitality on Sunday morning by setting up the coffee and bagels, just show up by 10 a.m. and see Jill Lewis.  This is an excellent way to help out, and you get to appreciate the beauty of our meeting place a little longer!
